The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says centrifuges can reduce the amount of bacteria in the air around you.
Here’s how it works.

They’re used to remove particles from the air that cause gas masks to clog up or are causing respiratory problems.
They have been used in the US since the 1960s, but they have been the subject of a number of scientific studies in recent years.
They’re currently used in about a quarter of the world’s hospitals, and the number of patients in the United States with symptoms related to a bacterial infection has more than doubled since 2014, according to the CDC.
In the United Kingdom, the number jumped from 6,000 in 2012 to 25,000 last year.
But some health officials say the number has been growing in recent months, particularly in the last few years.
The CDC said there have been nearly 3,000 confirmed bacterial infections linked to the use of centrifugal-pump air masks in the past year, up from 1,500 in 2015.
In some cases, there is no evidence that a person has been exposed to the bacteria, which are usually transmitted through coughing or sneezing.
However, some have said there’s no need to use centrifugal machines if you’re in the country, or even if you don’t have a home or work place where there’s a vacuum cleaner nearby.
“I would say there’s some confusion,” said Dr. Matthew Boudreaux, a pediatrician at the University of Miami who specializes in respiratory infections.
“You’re using the machines for the right reason, but I would also say the machines should be used for the wrong reason.”
The number of people who don’t need to get a respiratory tract infection has been increasing exponentially over the last year, so if you are not using them, you are contributing to a serious problem.
“There are many reasons why people need to avoid them.”
Dr. Michael Schulkin, a medical officer with the CDC, said some countries that have had the most infections have been using centrifugal machine systems in their hospitals, such as the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Lebanon.
It’s unclear whether the machines are effective at removing particulate matter, such, dust, that can clog airways.
In the United Sates, there have also been reports of people being treated for airway infections linked by their symptoms, such the common cold, or having a cough that does not go away.
In the UK, Dr. Tom Boulton said that in 2015, there were a number, but not all, of the reported infections being linked to a centrifugal air mask.
Dr. Schulkins said the biggest concern for him is the spread of a new type of bacteria called Escherichia coli.
Escherichiae coli are very small, and it can take a few days to develop into an infection, he said.
That could make it difficult for doctors to diagnose the bacteria and to prescribe antibiotics for people.
“If they don’t know that the person has got this, it’s really hard to figure out how to get the infection under control,” Dr. Boulson said.
“So I think the best thing you can do is just be cautious.”
In the US, the CDC has found no increase in the number or severity of infections from the machines in hospitals.
Even if the number increases, it could still be too little too late.
The CDC has recommended that anyone using a centrifuge to clean their room should have a breathing mask.
The CDC has also asked people who are being treated with the machines to wear an external respirator.
